- Lead the design and implementation of complicated software projects involving multi-disciplinary teams spanning cloud, embedded, front-end web/mobile, data, and product
- Write clean, maintainable code, and perform peer code-reviews
- Solve challenging scale, integration, and architectural problems
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications in a Kubernetes ecosystem
- Perform rotating on-call duties as part of production support
- Education Requirements: BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- 7+ years of industry experience in writing production code
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complicated software projects
- High proficiency in writing idiomatic code, preferably in Java, Scala, Node.Js, or Rust
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures on AWS or GCP
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
- Fundamental understanding of computer networking, operating systems, and databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Spark, Akka, or NestJS is a plus
